It’s that wonderful time of year, seeing the sun come through the rain, seeing the trees all in bloom! This has been an exceptional Spring in the Pacific Northwest, and it hasn’t even officially arrived yet!
We thought we would put together a few upcoming events in our Tacoma Community, as well as a list of some local companies to help you get the most out of this Spring and Summer Season!
Are you interesting in kayaking or paddle boarding? This popular activity is a wonderful way to enjoy our incredible scenery as well as get some exercise! If you are ready to take off on your own, and just want to rent boards or kayaks by the hour or day, or if want to sign up for a class to get your skills polished up, Gig Harbor Rent-A-Boat & Charters, LLC is the place to start for both. Check out their website, and start making your plans!
If hiking is more your thing, we have an amazing array of hikes in the Northwest. You can find something for every fitness level or family situation. Whether you have small children, adventurous teenagers, or you just haven’t been exploring in a while, you can review the hikes on the Every Trail in Washington site to find one that suits you, pack your essentials and get outside! Don’t forget snacks, extra water, a first aid kit and some sun screen!
How about signing up for a more organized event? Many people find this is a great way to get motivated. There are several fun ones coming up here in our area, check them out and see which one fits your needs!
