Please review the changes we are making to protect you, our staff, and our community.

Your Health and Safety Are Our Top Priorities

We feel privileged you are a part of our dental family at Giesy Family & Implant Dentistry. We care deeply about the health, safety, and well-being of our patients, our families, and our dental care team. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to progress, our thoughts are with all of those affected.

We are reaching out to let you know our top priority is to ensure our patients can be treated in the healthiest and safest possible environment.

Our office has always followed the highest infection control standards and will continue to monitor the guidelines set forth by CDC, ADA, and OSHA. Their guidelines are instrumental in keeping you and our staff safe as well as preventing the spread of any infection.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with what's changing and how we are keeping you safe. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to call us: 253-752-6630.

Here's What You Can Expect

Your appointment:

  • Before your appointment, we'll ask you a series of health screening questions. If you or someone you've been in contact with has a fever or other symptoms of illness, we'll ask you to reschedule your appointment.
  • Patient forms and payments can be completed online to limit contact.
  • Please don't bring anyone with you to the appointment. Guests will be asked to wait outside the office (exceptions will be made for dependents).
  • If you're scheduled for a procedure that requires a driver, we'll ask your driver to wait in the car until your procedure is complete. Then we'll ask them to come inside for post-operative instructions.
  • If you don't want to wait in the lobby, you can wait in your car and call us to check-in. We'll let you know when we are ready for you.
  • Please wear a mask or face covering when you arrive at our office, and do not remove it until you are seated in the dental chair.
  • You'll be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
  • We'll check your temperature and give you a pre-procedural rinse before the start of your treatment.

Our office:

  • We've added new specialized suction units to make your cleaning appointments more comfortable and safer from aerosols.
  • We have multiple Surgically Clean Air filtration units throughout the office.
  • All staff are clinically screened and have their temperature taken daily.
  • Office personnel wear masks at all times.
  • Clinical staff wear all recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • As always, we employ frequent and rigorious disinfecting cycles with bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, and tuberculocidal disinfectants.
  • Before and after every patient, we thoroughly disinfect the exam room, door handles, surfaces, etc.
  • All staff are trained and continually updated on office protocols, including CDC guidelines and OSHA standards.
  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children's toys, and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Our hours of operation remain the same.

We Are Here for You

Our office is committed to helping you, our staff, and our community stay safe and healthy. As new guidelines develop, we will continue to evolve our office protocols.
